We offer a range of drawers suitable for both the overlanding and commercial sectors. Constructed primarily out of aluminium, our drawers are light, strong and durable. But that isn't where it ends. You see, many of our competitors feature the same drawer slider mechanisms that you'll find in your kitchen cabinets. It's our experience that these light-duty items are simply not strong enough to endure the rigours of overland travel. So our drawers feature no fewer than 8 individual sealed bearings per drawer, they make for an opening action that's as smooth as it is robust, no matter what conditions you find yourself battling.

The drawer tops are 12 mm waterproof ply covered with nylon carpet, a durable combination that allows you to load gear on top of the drawers with confidence. Spring bolts at the rear of the drawers means you can easily remove the drawers for cleaning, while the front of each drawer features a lockable, self-latching, heavy-duty, stainless steel catch, a unit both easy to operate and super secure

As an Overlander, I seldom leave the asphalt without a set of Recovery Trax, especially if travelling alone. A good set of sand tracks can help get you out of many sticky situations. My feeling is it’s the next best thing to a winch. The problem with the Trax - is where to store them. If packing four, they can take a lot of space. It’s for this reason alone we designed the Recovery Trax Folding Bracket/Table, designed to fit to most Alu-Cab Canopies. It stores the trax on the side of the canopy, this makes them very easy to access - while still storing them out the way.

With this stored to the side of the canopy, we still need access into the canopy. We therefore designed the trax holder to fold down, in order to allow access and double-up as a table, at the same time. This creates the perfect solution with the added bonus.

We not only designed the table for the Max Trax, but some of the other tracks available on the market to. Another advantage is that we made provision, for those who may fit Rotopax fuel tanks to the side. It takes up to the 4,5 gallon (17 litre) tank, in the place of the Max Tax. The recovery tracks holder is a must for all adventurers.

Alu-Cab’s new fridge slide now operates as a straight pull out slide, or it has the option to tilt. This means you have the advantage of a slide that runs on stainless steel runners, with sealed stainless-steel bearings. This product offers maximum strength with the ability to carry greater loads, with greater resistance to dust and the harsh off-road conditions.

With double locking pins, it is secured firmly in place when locked in position - with no risk of the slide breaking free, when the road gets rough.

The advantage of our new slide is that by removing a small part, the product easily adapts to a tilting slide. This allows easier access when the fridge is positioned at height. It also helps to clear the canopy or back doors, when there isn’t the space to open the lid. Built from both Stainless Steel and Aluminium, it offers good strength, without adding excessive weight.

The Ammo Box Slide is a packing solution that makes equipping the vehicle that much simpler. It is important when overlanding, to have your gear neatly sorted and safely secured - the Wolfpack Ammo Boxes assist with this. This product is a universal slide, designed to fit most Alu-Cab Canopies. It carries four boxes, if stacked on top of one another. The slide is also located in one of those areas of the canopy that would normally be a problem to use, it’s just a matter of creating order to your packing system. What is great about this product, is that these boxes can be accessed through the side of the canopy at any given time.

What we often do is number our boxes on all four sides and allocate a number to each person, which speeds up finding your box. Sometimes we even create a list of the items in the numbered boxes, this allows you to equip yourself correctly. The boxes can be fixed in position using a ratchet strap, for when the trail gets bumpy.

A jerrycan is always handy, whether for water or fuel. Our jerrycan holder takes a standard jerrycan and is designed to fit on the rear of one of our expedition canopies, the one with the 900 mm rear door. It's made of aluminium, is powder coated and comes with a lockable latch.

A key feature to owning an Alu-Cab product, is the advantage of adding accessories. One of the most useful accessories for the Overlander is cupboards. We offer these to you equipped, or as an empty aluminium cupboard, ready to be personalised and equipped. What makes a cupboard such a useful product, is that it utilises space, that is normally impossible to pack equipment into without creating chaos.

Having an equipped side Cupboard, means easy access to your gear from the sides. So, by adding kitchen equipment to the side of the truck, means your basic essentials are there at all times - ready when you need them. Therefore, at a roadside stop, there is no unpacking required to make a quick lunch, or while you are in the camp, you can work around the vehicle. Everything is firmly fixed in place, making it simple and easy to operate. I do need to mention that this is a real winner, for the wives, or for those of you who are domesticated and do the cooking. The recovery cupboard we offer, is in a slightly different format.

Our load bars are available in two lengths, 1250 & 1450mm. They are designed for easy fitment to the nut-slotted Roof Rails on our canopy, tent or roof conversion range of products. Various accessories, like bike or kayak carriers, or even our own Rack Tray can easily be mounted to these bars.

Alu-Cab does not build roof racks. We do however offer one of the best and strongest load bars on the market, with a really unique feature, a side T slot. This allows us to mount products from the side of the load bar and creates numerous advantages. Our latest is our Roof Rack Tray with Table Bracket.

It’s an Aluminium tray, bent to fit between the Alu-Cab load bars. This tray, once bolted into place, can handle up to 100 kg’s. What I love about this tray, is that you don’t even notice it’s there. Its sits below the line of the load bar - mounting any flat product onto the bars will not be affected by the tray. It’s also adds no wind drag. So, if mounted to load bars on your tent it’s easy to add some gear where needed. The same applies to the roof of a vehicle, canopy or any place that you can add our Alu-Cab load bars. It’s one of those simple but effective products, useful at any given time.

What is also great about the tray is that we added some special features. To the bottom of the tray one can add our Table Mount, which therefore means you can add an Alu-table to the underside of the tray. Often, we are not sure where we can add a table especially when driving a station wagon.

Another option, the tray can easily carry three Ammo boxes, with space to spare. Or alternatively three Jerry Cans. Again, a Rotopax mount is already added. Or your Maxtrax. The list goes on. Just remember to be sure not to over load vehicles or tents - try to stay within all required specks.
